En la región de Piura, decenas de agricultores bloquearon el denominado “trébol Catacaos”, punto estratégico que conecta las ciudades de Piura, Catacaos y Chiclayo. informó Canal N.
Los dirigentes advirtieron que las medidas de fuerza podrían intensificarse si no existe una respuesta inmediata del Gobierno central y extenderse a un paro indefinido a nivel nacional.
La protesta incluye marchas, suspensión de tránsito y cierre de mercados, mientras gremios advierten que la crisis podría llevar a la quiebra a miles de agricultores.

Los manifestantes aseguran que los bajos precios del arroz, el incremento de los costos de producción y las importaciones extranjeras están dejando al borde de la quiebra a cientos de agricultores.
Un nuevo paro agrario se registra cinco provincias del país, en dónde los productores arroceros exigen medidas urgentes frente a la crisis que golpea al sector.
