La dirección del taller está a cargo del primer actor y productor teatral Leonardo Torres Descalzi. Este taller permite que adultos mayores descubran habilidades artísticas que muchas veces permanecieron dormidas por años.

A lo largo del proceso, los participantes no solo aprenden técnicas teatrales, sino que fortalecen su autoestima, memoria y expresión corporal.

Para Torres Descalzi, el impacto va mucho más allá de los aplausos. “El teatro nos recuerda que siempre podemos empezar algo nuevo. Aquí nadie viene a demostrar lo que fue, sino a descubrir lo que aún puede ser”, señala.

Este 17 de marzo se inaugura oficialmente la temporada teatral 2026 con la puesta en escena de Microbras, una propuesta compuesta por cinco micro obras: “Coma”, “El Juego de la Verdad”, “La Suegra”, “Locas por los hombres” y “Bonome”.

Serán seis funciones gratuitas de ingreso libre, todas están programadas a las 7 p.m. Las primeras tres se realizarán del 17 al 19 de marzo en el auditorio de la Casa Tovar; y del 23 al 25 de marzo en el Centro Cultural Ricardo Palma. En ambos casos el ingreso es por orden de llegada y hasta completar el aforo.
