En un operativo desplegado durante la madrugada de este jueves, agentes de la Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP) ejecutaron la detención preliminar de Adrián Villar Chirinos, quien es el principal investigado por el atropello y posterior muerte de la seleccionada nacional de buceo, Lizeth Marzano Noguera, ocurrido el pasado 17 de febrero en San Isidro.

La intervención, liderada por efectivos de Inteligencia de Tránsito y la unidad especializada en investigación de accidentes, se realizó en un inmueble ubicado en la avenida Jorge Vanderghen, en Miraflores. El joven de 21 años permanecerá detenido por 3 días (72 horas).

Según las imágenes, los efectivos llegaron a la vivienda de Adrián y, tras esperar unos minutos, fueron recibidos por su padrastro y su madre.

Después de una breve negativa por parte de los familiares, solicitaron encender las luces, momento en el que Villar apareció. La policía lo saludó con un apretón de manos antes de proceder con las acciones correspondientes.

Debido a estas evidencias, el Ministerio Público no solo ordenó la detención del conductor, sino que también incluyó formalmente a Linares en la investigación por el presunto delito de encubrimiento personal en agravio del Estado.
