La formación de extrema derecha solicitó al Tribunal Superior Electoral (TSE) recabar pruebas que esclarezcan el nivel de “interferencia, participación y de subsidio del poder público” en el desfile de la escuela Acadêmicos de Niterói en el Sambódromo de Río, el pasado domingo.

Para defender su petición, la colectividad adjuntó una serie de artículos de prensa sobre la presunta participación de miembros del Gobierno de Lula a la hora de preparar el desfile, además de fotografías del presidente presenciando el evento en un palco del Sambódromo.

El PL sostiene que el desfile que narró “la historia de vida de Lula” se convirtió en un “acto político-electoral explícito” que usó “jingles, símbolos y promesas de campaña” para exaltar al Gobierno, además de “atacar adversarios y despreciar a la oposición”.

“Todo esto en año electoral y transmitido para millones de brasileños. Es verdaderamente inédito”, apunta el partido, que lanzará a Flávio Bolsonaro como candidato en las presidenciales de octubre.

“El desfile en cuestión se convirtió en propaganda gubernamental y partidaria abierta en cada carroza, además de ataques evidentes a opositores, en un típico comportamiento electoralista”, añadió.

El desfile en cuestión exaltó la historia de Lula, desde su origen en el empobrecido nordeste brasileño hasta su ascenso como líder sindical y su elección como presidente, y se mofó de su principal adversario político, Jair Bolsonaro, hoy en prisión por intento de golpe de Estado.
