Según señaló en un comunicado, la herramienta busca evitar que los usuarios se dirijan a establecimientos que no tengan disponibilidad del producto. En esa línea, indicó que desde el 11 de marzo y de manera progresiva el aplicativo empieza a mostrar solo los establecimientos que tienen combustible disponible para la venta.

“De esta manera, los usuarios podrán ubicar más fácilmente dónde abastecerse sin perder tiempo buscando en distintos grifos”, indicó la entidad, que añadió que con esta mejora los ciudadanos contarán con “información más útil y confiable”.

Asimismo, recordó que el aplicativo muestra en un mapa los grifos cercanos o ubicados en la ruta del usuario junto con sus precios. También destaca en color verde el establecimiento más económico y en rojo el más caro, lo que facilita la comparación entre opciones.

Osinergmin señaló además que los grifos tienen la obligación de reportar sus precios actualizados y si cuentan con combustible. Esta información es publicada en el aplicativo para que los ciudadanos puedan tomar decisiones informadas.

El organismo precisó que, si detecta incumplimientos en el reporte de esta información, iniciará los procesos de sanción correspondientes. Asimismo, indicó que si el precio mostrado en el grifo es distinto al que figura en Facilito, el usuario puede reportarlo desde el aplicativo o llamando a la línea gratuita 1840.
