El Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos (Minjusdh) designó a Willy Ramírez Chávarry, exmiembro del pleno del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE), como director de la Dirección General de Derechos Humanos.

El pasado 18 de febrero el pleno del JNE expresó su reconocimiento a la labor del magistrado Willy Ramírez Chávarry como integrante del organismo electoral, cuyo periodo de cuatro años culminó el pasado 1 de marzo.

Cabe recordar que Ramírez Chávarry había asumido funciones como integrante del máximo organismo electoral desde el 1 de marzo de 2022.

“Es así que, estando próxima la fecha de culminación del periodo del Magistrado, este Supremo Tribunal Electoral considera que es de justicia expresar un reconocimiento especial a la labor desempeñada por el señor doctor Willy Ramírez Chávarry, como una forma de resaltar sus altas cualidades personales, así como el valioso aporte brindado al sistema electoral en la consolidación de la democracia y gobernabilidad, su rol en la impartición de justicia electoral y al desarrollo de actividades de índole académico que constituyen un valioso aporte a la educación cívica y electoral del país”, indicó una resolución del JNE.
