Además, se analizaron alternativas para fortalecer las acciones de reducción del riesgo, incluyendo la posibilidad de utilizar mecanismos de financiamiento público orientados al cierre de brechas en medidas de mitigación frente a precipitaciones intensas y sus impactos asociados.

Cabe señalar que el Senamhi anunció que, desde el 16 al 19 de febrero, en la franja costera, las lluvias estarán acompañados de una mayor sensación de bochorno, debido al desplazamiento de nubosidad desde la sierra hacia el mar y al fortalecimiento de las corrientes de aire del mar. En el norte del país se registrarán lluvias de moderadas a mayor intensidad.
