La fiscalía mexicana “recibió un escrito, entregado por quien dijo ser representante jurídico de familiares” de Oseguera, “en el que se solicita la entrega de sus restos mortales”, aseguró la institución en un comunicado.

“El Mencho”, de 59 años, encabezaba el Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) y era hasta ahora el narco más buscado por el gobierno de Estados Unidos, que ofrecía una recompensa de 15 millones de dólares.

Su cuerpo fue trasladado a instalaciones de la fiscalía en Ciudad de México.

En la operación y en choques posteriores murieron al menos 27 agentes de seguridad, 46 presuntos criminales y una civil.
