Fuentes de El Comercio indicaron que, además, de brindar cifras sobre “sus logros”, Santiváñez prometería medidas para reducir la criminalidad en los próximos 50 días.

El martes, el titular del Interior había remitido un oficio al presidente del Congreso, Eduardo Salhuana. El pleno debate y vota las mociones que buscan su destitución del cargo el viernes a las 10 de la mañana.
La presentación del ministro del Interior se da un día antes de que el Congreso realice el debate de las tres mociones de censura que pesan en su contra.
Esto se da después de que la propia Junta de Portavoces del Parlamento accediera al pedido que el ministro Santiváñez realizó para presentarse y exponer ante la representación nacional.
El ministro del Interior, Juan José Santiváñez, se presentará este jueves ante el pleno del Congreso para informar los planes y acciones de su sector frente al avance y la amenaza de la criminalidad en el país. La sesión iniciará a las 10 am.
