En Camerún, las ciudades de Yaundé, Bamenda y Duala acogerán entre el 15 y 18 de abril al pontífice estadounidense-peruano, quien conocerá así una región que vive una guerra civil desde hace una década en la que se enfrentan fuerzas armadas regulares con movimientos separatistas

La siguiente etapa del viaje papal africano será Angola, un país de mayoría cristiana, donde están previstas visitas entre los días 18 y 21 a la capital, Luanda, que conmemora este año su 450 aniversario, así como a las ciudades de Muxima y Saurimo.
