Un bus de transporte público se incendió la mañana de este jueves 12 de marzo en la Vía de Evitamiento, a la altura de Puente Nuevo, en el distrito de El Agustino. El siniestro generó alarma entre los vecinos y conductores que transitaban por la zona, quienes no dudaron en pedir ayuda para atender la emergencia.

La unidad afectada pertenecería a la empresa de transportes Simón Bolívar S.A. (Etsibosa). Según los primeros reportes, el vehículo se encontraba detenido en las inmediaciones de Puente Nuevo, uno de los principales puntos de conexión entre El Agustino y San Juan de Lurigancho, cuando comenzó el incendio.
