La jefa del Gabinete indicó que, de acuerdo con el reporte del Ministerio de Educación (Minedu), la gran mayoría de instituciones educativas privadas viene cumpliendo con la medida adoptada por el Ejecutivo para enfrentar la contingencia energética que afecta al país.

Según precisó, el objetivo de la medida no es afectar el desarrollo del año escolar, sino responder a una situación excepcional que requiere la colaboración de todos los sectores.

En ese sentido, adelantó que una vez culminadas las reuniones con los distintos actores del sector educativo se revisarán las medidas adoptadas para determinar los siguientes pasos frente a la contingencia.

Miralles recordó que la actual emergencia no fue generada por el sector público, sino que responde a una situación que afecta a todo el país.

Por ello, consideró fundamental que la ciudadanía comprenda la necesidad de adoptar medidas temporales mientras se restablece el suministro energético.

La jefa del Gabinete también señaló que la empresa Transportadora de Gas del Perú (TGP) ha estimado que el restablecimiento de la provisión de gas natural podría tomar alrededor de 14 días.

No obstante, expresó su expectativa de que el plazo pueda reducirse conforme avancen los trabajos para superar la interrupción del servicio.
