En el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer, y a una semana del inicio del torneo local, la atacante crema recuerda cómo en el 2019 las futbolistas se unieron para exigir reconocimiento del fútbol femenino en el país.
“El camino fue duro durante años, pero el momento que marcó mi carrera fue en 2019, cuando todas las futbolistas nos unimos para ser vistas como profesionales y darle la importancia que merece el fútbol femenino. Un paso importante fue poder jugar una final del clásico en el Estadio Nacional”, recuerda.
Sin embargo, los inicios no fueron sencillos. “Cuando empecé fue muy difícil por el tema de las canchas deportivas, la alimentación y la falta de visibilidad en los medios. Además, no teníamos seguro si nos pasaba algo en el campo”, explica. Asegura que muchas condiciones han cambiado, sin embargo, el tema salarial sigue siendo una materia pendiente. “Todavía muchas jugadoras tienen que trabajar además de jugar.
