Justamente, de acuerdo con la Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL), el índice MSCI nuam Perú General terminó el día con una disminución de 1,50%. Asimismo, el MSCI nuam Perú Select cerró la jornada del martes cayendo 1,58% y el MSCI nuam Perú Select Capped 15%, con un descenso de 1,37%.

De acuerdo con Alberto Arispe, gerente general de Kallpa SAB, la censura de Jerí no tuvo efecto el la bolsa local, debido a que el mercado local e internacional ya internaliza que en Perú se ha vuelto normal la salida de presidentes.

“En los últimos 10 años hubo nueve presidentes. Eso significa un presidente cada 1,1 años”, indicó.

A su vez, según Kallpa SAB, la caída en la BVL se debe a los resultados negativos de las acciones mineras, que, a su vez, disminuyeron por una menor cotización en el precio internacional de los metales.

Por ejemplo, las acciones de Nexa Resources Atacocha bajaron 8,33%; Bear Creek Mining Corporation bajó 7,69%; y Silver Mountain Resources cayó 6,41%.

De igual forma sucedió con las acciones de Volcan Compañía Minera (-6,02%), Southern Cooper Corporation (-5,48%) y Nexa Resources Perú (-2,68%).

“Ha caído el precio del oro, la plata y el cobre que son los metales sensibles para la bolsa local. Durante el día, si bien el mercado entró en una sesión bajista, no hubo ningún movimiento brusco ni crítico”, comentó Luis Falen, profesor de la facultad de Economía y Finanzas de la Universidad del Pacífico.

Para Falen, si bien hubo un “leve bache” en el desempeño del mercado bursátil por la salida de Jerí, este no fue abrupto y posteriormente hubo una mejora en la bolsa hacia el cierre de la jornada.

El tipo de cambio cerró en S/3,346 a las 1:30 p.m. este martes, previo a la censura de Jerí. Para este miércoles, Falen estima que el desempeño del dólar dependerá de los factores externos.

Arispe, en tanto, consideró que la variación en el tipo de cambio dependerá de quién sea el sucesor de Jerí en el sillón presidencial -cuya votación se realizará este miércoles en el Congreso- y si tiene un cambio dramático en la política. Este último aspecto no ocurriría, añadió.

De acuerdo con Kallpa SAB, el mercado está más atento a los resultados de la primera vuelta de abril.
