El Décimo Juzgado Constitucional de Lima evaluará este viernes 13 de marzo la demanda para que la Embajada de México le otorgue el salvoconducto a la ex primera ministra Betssy Chávez -asilada y condenada a 11 años y 5 meses de prisión por el golpe de Estado- que le permita salir del Perú rumbo a ese país.

El Décimo Juzgado Constitucional de Lima evaluará este viernes 13 de marzo la demanda para que la Embajada de México le otorgue el salvoconducto a la ex primera ministra Betssy Chávez -asilada y condenada a 11 años y 5 meses de prisión por el golpe de Estado- que le permita salir del Perú rumbo a ese país.

El ciudadano Rubén Serpa Valdez presentó una demanda de hábeas corpus preventivo a favor de la Embajada de México, para ordenar la entrega inmediata de un salvoconducto a la golpista exministra.

​El recurso fue interpuesto contra la Presidencia de la República, la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM), el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, el Poder Judicial y el Ministerio del Interior por presunta vulneración de la libertad personal y derechos conexos.

Adicionalmente, el demandante solicitó que se ordene al Poder Ejecutivo y a la Policía Nacional que se abstengan de ejecutar cualquier acto material de ingreso, captura o intervención dentro de la embajada y se dicten medidas de protección y cautelares urgentes, garantizando el recinto diplomático.

Betssy Chávez ingresó a la sede diplomática antes de ser sentenciada por el golpe de Estado del expresidente Pedro Castillo (2021-2022) y el Gobierno de México le otorgó formalmente el asilo diplomático el 3 de noviembre de 2025.

El 27 de noviembre de 2025 la Sala Penal Especial de la Corte Suprema dictó una sentencia de 11 años y cinco meses de prisión contra Chávez Chino por el delito de conspiración para la rebelión y se ordenó su ubicación y captura inmediata a nivel nacional e internacional.
