En el caso de Lima Metropolitana, las temperaturas diurnas oscilarán entre los 27 °C y 30 °C en los distritos de Lima oeste y Lima centro, mientras que en Lima este y Lima norte podrían alcanzar alrededor de los 32 °C.

En la costa norte, las temperaturas máximas alcanzarían entre 32 °C y 37 °C en Piura y Tumbes, y entre 31 °C y 35 °C en Lambayeque en el día.
Durante la noche, los valores se mantendrán alrededor de 24 °C a 25 °C en Tumbes, entre 24 °C y 26 °C en Piura, cerca de 23 °C en Lambayeque y alrededor de 22 °C en La Libertad.
Especialistas del Senamhi indicaron que este aumento se debe a la presencia de vientos del norte, al incremento de la temperatura superficial del mar, principalmente frente al litoral norte, y a la escasa nubosidad hacia el mediodía.
Según el organismo adscrito al Ministerio del Ambiente (Minam), estas condiciones favorecerán el aumento de las temperaturas durante el día en toda la franja costera, incluida Lima Metropolitana.
