Según detalló la entidad, la emergencia comprende el periodo del 1 al 14 de marzo de 2026, durante el cual se monitorea “el cumplimiento del mecanismo de racionamiento para la asignación del volumen de gas natural al mercado interno”.
Asimismo, de acuerdo con la Resolución Directoral N° 020-2026-MINEM/DGH, el volumen disponible en las tuberías debe asignarse de manera prioritaria al suministro en hogares, comercios y establecimientos de GNV que abastecen a medios de transporte público.
En ese sentido, Osinergmin precisó que «supervisará que la asignación y distribución del gas natural disponible, se efectúe conforme a los criterios establecidos por el MINEM“.
Por otro lado, el organismo señaló que ha verificado que “las centrales termoeléctricas que operan con gas natural de Camisea han sido reemplazadas temporalmente por centrales de respaldo que operan con diésel (reserva fría, Nodo Energético y unidades de generación dual)”, medida que, subrayó, “permite preservar la continuidad del servicio eléctrico a nivel nacional”.
